$400M Fine for Fannie Mae

Franklin Raines, the former chairman and chief executive of Fannie Mae, has received more than $90 million in compensation from 1998 to 2003. According to the report, about $52 million was directly tied to the company's hitting earnings target.

Tampa Condo to Reach Historical Heights

The developer Amon Investments of Daytona Beach was given initial approval last Thursday by the Tampa City Council. The preliminary approval was the permission to construct a 630-foot-tall condo tower on Morgan and Washington Streets. The 51-story condo will be the tallest in the Bay area. It would top the planned Trump Tower by 37 feet.
